Allows you to connect a Apple Joystick with a DIP16 connector to a DB9 Apple IIe, IIgs, IIc joystick port. 

 

Works great connecting directly to an apple II computer with a joystick that has 16 pins, or use with a Retroconnector or GABE gaming device and use a 16 pin extension cable. If using a 16 pin cable with the GABE gaming adapter this is required, most other DB9 / DIP16 adapters do not pass all wires through and 2 joystick support is lost.  

 

This adapter passes all 9 wires to the Apple II computer.
